My early career focused on child and family issues providing me great insight and understanding of the development of coping skills I see in adults. I have training in many approaches to therapy including EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), Art therapy, Play therapies, and other expressive therapies, among others.
While my experience is diverse, my primary psychotherapy framework is Psychodynamic. This approach allows us to work together to uncover the root cause of your challenges (insight-oriented) and make positive lasting changes.
I work with a wide variety of clients to address numerous emotional and behavioral issues, including but not limited to:
• Mood Issues (Depression, Anxiety, Fear, etc.)
• Relationship Difficulties
• Parenting
• Trauma
• Life Transitions
• Grief
• Stress Management
• Other Quality of Life Issues
